Don was raised on a farm just east of Holstein, Ontario and his family also owned Standardbred horses. The name "Trelane" originated from his Holstein dairy farm, so it was natural for Don to want to carry it on today.

For myself, Andrea, my love for the Clydesdale breed began at 7 years old, when I had the pleasure of meeting and learning to ride these gentle giants as my very first experience with horses. No other breed every compared after that encounter and i was hooked for life!! I have been involved with Clydesdale horses for over 30 years now, sharing my love for the breed with my partner Don.

Together, we have developed our passion for Clydesdale horses into a strong breeding and showing program. We very much honor the traditional breeding of these gentle giants and are proud promoters of the Clydesdale horse at home in Canada and across North America.
